JaimeI received your email but we have been away. We are currently going through an appeal process which the doctors have been extremely helpful with but we were initially denied coverage because our childs need for the drug does not fit the carriers criteria. I am told this is not uncommon or completly unexpected. We saw Dr. New several weeks ago and my daughter had a bone age test done and they feel the growth hormone has helped to lesson the gap between her actual age and her bone age. We feel we are definately on the right track.
My daughter does not love taking the shots each night, as she will say , "they are a pain in the neck especially at sleep overs". But they are relatively painless and are just becoming a part of life.
I hope all this helps with your decision fell free to contact me if I can be of help.
