Jill H.Our son started school two weeks ago and the third day of school I got a call from the school secretary and she told me she had forgotten to give him his 2:00 cortef. I reassured her that it would be alright and thanked her for calling to let me know but urged to her that this was very important that he get his meds at the right time.
Now I worry that even though I was nice what if she forgets again and doesn’t want to look bad so she might not tell me the next time. Urrrgh! This is why I quit my job and stayed home with him. I worried that a babysitter might not give him his meds or that if she forgot she would be worried about getting in trouble so she wouldn’t say anything.
This whole school thing is very stressful this year. I have thought about getting him a watch with an alarm that will go off right before meds time to let him know to remind his teacher he needs to go to the office. The office gives all the other meds right after lunch so he is the only one to get his at 2:00 and that is what is throwing them off.
Any ideas at all will help.
Thanks
