re: re: question about school and meds

Jill - This is a major concern. I felt the same way once my son had to be medicated at school. I purchased a "vibrating" watch for my son. Sounding alarm watches are not allowed in our school system under any condition, as they disrupt the class ( or so I’ve been told!) so I went on a mission trying to find a "vibrating" watch and found many of them. I found ours at www.epill.com and Sandra found a less expensive model at www.bedwettingstore.com. It turned out to be one of the best "investments" I have ever made. He has assumed some responsibility for his health as he is in the 5th grade and has made arrangements ( as he did in 4th grade) to quietly go to the nurses office when his alarm "vibrates". The nurse also put an alarm in her office so that should my son ever forget ( or the batteries die in the watch!) she will remember and call him down. Look into one - I don’t think you will be disappointed! Hope this helps!
