Our 12 day old son almost died last week from Adrenal failure......turns out he has CAH.  I’m still learning about the disease......but can anyone tell me how his life will be?  A couple questions:

1.  What are the biggest problems he will face?

2.  Any adverse reactions to the medicine (cortizone and florinef)?

3.  Premature puberty, acne, stunted growth, etc?

4.  Ability to consume alcohol later in life?

We love our boy dearly.....and only want the best for him!  These are some of the questions we’ve already thought of......answers are appreciated!
