When they give the shots here, before they load the syringe up, the nurse always show you the vial and the date on the bottle before hand.  Perhaps you can ask to see it to assure yourself that it is a new batch?  Just a thought as Tyler-Leigh had shots here a few months ago at 15 mths and the nurse showed me as I said.
