You are going through what I went through with my boy at 9 days old.  He is now 3 and doing really well.  What city are you in?  We live in Atlanta.  A bit of advice I have is just this:  Make sure he gets his meds when directed, take him to his endo appointments , call your endo when he get sick...vomitting not spit  up from a bottle.  Also, make sure that your ped. gives you plenty of referrals to your endo, b/c they may not see you w/o a referral even when it is a critical matter.  They can be pretty harsh about referrals b/c most of the situations they deal with are important and critical.  Your baby will be fine.  You have the same exact questions I had.  Also, sports.  They can play any sports they want to.  My son is 3, and is really popular in his preschool and a total jock.  My email is below.  Please feel free to email me back.
