Thanks Kay,

Ashley was asking this morning if he had to take his clothes off, but the lady said that if he wears shorts and stuff with no metal fasteners he will be ok.

It is at the same place that I have had my pregnancy scans and they do get the results through to a main computer room behind reception.  In the past I have had my scan results straight away if I waited for them, but I am not sure about this scan and if they will disclose the results straight away or not.

When we saw the Doctor last year, he did say at the time that before he ordered a bone densitometry that he would have to study or swot up on the normal bone density of children Ashley’s age.  However, I think they can assess the results at that lab and have done with my pregnancy scans, and then they send the results on to the Doctor concerned.  So I am hoping that we can get those later on today.

I have a feeling things will be okay with him since finding out that his bone age actually caught up to his chronological age a few months ago, so whatever over treatment there was between 3 yrs and 7 yrs would possibly have been reversed with inadvertantly giving him less replacement in med’s.  That can happen from what I understand.  I’ll let you know how we went though.

Cheers
