Having trouble getting diagnosed LOCAH
Sep. 13th, 2002   1:37pm

I’m having a heap of trouble getting diagnosed with LOCAH.  It’s been three years of hell with a combination of neuro/eye and endo problems and LOCAH didn’t even come up until recently.

It seems that during days 1-14 I am basically "normal," but during days 15-28, but basically the closer to day 21 the better--that’s when my tests come back positive.  As you can imagine that is quite the crap shoot and very few tests have come back positive.  As a result, a couple of endos have given up on me.  The third one seems to be hanging in there, but we’ll see...

Does anyone have any experience with cyclical LOCAH?  I’m now a 42 year old female, but when I look back I’ve always had problems with days 15-28...and the other half of the month I was always catching up whether it be weight-wise, migraine-wise or whatever.  I seem to fit the profile from everything I’ve read.  And believe me I’ve done a lot of reading (albeit reluctantly) over the last couple of years.

Any tips on dealing with endos?  I am going literally crazy trying to get a diagnosis and get on with my life.  The symptoms are now so horrible that they all bleed into each other and I feel badly all the time.
