My daughter is 2 1/2 now. She was switched to pills at 4 months (from the liquid that was recalled.) We got the oral syringes, too. But one step simpler. Just drop the portion of the pill(s) into the syringe (we actually 1/6th Cortef!), replace the plunger and suck up the preferred liquid. Wait for it to dissolve (takes longer with cold liquid) and the squirt into cheek and hope it stays in! Repeat with liquid to make sure all meds are flushed out of the oral syringe. You can give the florinef at the same time as the Cortef. We always have. Ask about giving the florinef with the am and pm doses of cortef. Then you would be giving meds 3 times a day instead of 5. This make the most sense for compliance. Our first endo didn’t even tell us when to give florief just to give it. I had to ask around as to the "best" time to give it. We used to only give it in the am but my daughter’s renin was elevated. So we split the same dose into 1/2 am and 1/2 pm and brought her renin in control without raising her florinef dose. Good luck and congratulations on your new baby! It does get easier! Julia
