Yes, I spoke with the new dr’s assistant a few times--I was going back and forth between asking for a new/different test before my appointment or just getting him copied on my current endo’s test (in fact I think that lab told me they’ll actually fax the results straight to me--imagine that!)  There’s just so much hinging on everything right now.

Do you know much about the ACTH stimulation test for 17-OHP?  Does it come back positive for all forms of CAH?  And do you think it would come back positive during all times of the month?

There’s just too much evidence, too many symptoms, too many tests...I just simply won’t believe it if the test comes back negative.  That may sound irrational to some...but you wouldn’t believe what I’ve been through the last 3 years.
