Jill T.Thanks Valerie for pointing out your other post - I did miss it! Thank you both for responding.
So far, I’ve been very lucky with my son’s principal. She is a wonderful woman who seems to truly want to do everything in her power to ensure my son’s safety. She and another principal in the area are trying to get a motion passed (or whatever they call it) to allow school employees to be trained to give the solu-cortef injection and a glucogon (sp?) injection. She keeps thanking me for running around and gathering info for her - I told her that I’m thanking her for all of her help - that I’m the parent who needs support, but she sees it as us giving the school support so thet they can better deal with all safety issues for their students. I feel very lucky that I’m dealing with such a supportive person, but I don’t know if it will get us anywhere with the school board. I have to wait and see.
Thanks again for your support. Peg - Where in Ontario do you live? We live in Douro, a small rural community close to Peterborough. Our endo is at the Hospital for Sick Children. Where’s your’s? It would be very interesting to know how many of us visit this board.
TAke care, Jill T/
