Oh Boy am I naive!

I just assumed a lot of these problems went away went you were diagnosed!  And I guess I assumed that they measured your hormones over the course of the whole month and gave you different doses on different days.

Susan I can’t believe you’re still getting migraines!  Mine got so bad they thought I had a brain tumor.  Recently they put me on topamax and let me tell you that drug works really, really well.  It’s both an anti-seizure and a migraine preventative.  I think it works by evening out the size of your blood vessels--I think I migraine occurs when your vessels constrict too much too fast or something like that.  Anyway, it’s worth a try.

I thought that the cortisone and/or anti-androgen drugs would alleviate most of the symptoms because it would put your body back to its normal state.  Yikes!!!  This to look forward to!?!?
