AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

I told my endo about this symptom I was having.  A very, very hot head, neck and shoulders.  It’s not red, just hot.  If I stuck my head in a vat of cold water I bet I could start it boiling.  It started in July and has gotten progressively worse.  When I last talked to him I had no clue what it was.  At one point I even went to a dermatologist thinking it was some kind of scalp disease!

Well, I finally put 2 and 2 together and I think it’s hypertension.  Even though hypertension usually doesn’t have symptoms, I think there’s just way too much blood in my upper body.  My blood pressure has gone way up too--that’s another sign.  I just read that if you have CAH your body could make too much dosoxycorticosterone or DOC which can...you guessed it...give you hypertension.

Has anyone experienced this hot head syndrome?

So instead of calling me back he sends me tests forms in the mail for the "change."  I told him they weren’t hot flashes.  This is just so painful when no one believes you and you know you’re right and you just have no power.

I’m going to attempt to call him but I know he’ll duck my calls again.
