To Beverley (The Pharmacist)

Hi Beverley

I just read in a thread below that you are a pharmacist and wonder if you would be able to help me.  My daughter has SWCAH and she is currently taking "Cortisone Acetate" and "Fludrocortisone".  She has been reasonably well controlled, just a few hospital admissions with vomitting episodes, and her growth is a little on the short side (10th percentile).  I have read posts on the board before that Cortisone Acetate is not efficient in the control of CAH and that it is something that was used to treat CAH in the past but not used much any more.  Can you tell me anything about it, its effectiveness, and what else she should be taking.

Thanking you in anticipation.
