Hi.  My daughter (almost 7) was diagnoses with Non-classic CAH about a year ago.  The doctor prescribed hydrocortisone, and she seems to be doing well.  However, one of the side effects for us has been pretty rapid weight gain.  I know she is going to have to have treatment for the rest of her life, and I would rather she did not have to deal with this.  Has anyone tried any herbal, or "holistic" methods for treatment?

I know, in the grand scheme of things, that a little weight gain is nothing to worry about, compared with the issues that so many of you are dealing with.  I feel very blessed that she has the non salt-wasting form of this disease.  However, I also would like to explore other options if they are available.
