Why can’t we have live vaccines?  I thought that it because it was supposed to be just replacement therapy and that the only time you could not have vaccines was when your immunity is compromised, that it was ok for our kids.  Immunity is ok with CAH and we just double if there is a reaction, I was not aware there is a problem. 

I would say also that actually having full blown smallpox would be more difficult for a CAH’er to cope with than a vaccine wouldn’t it?  I would have thought it sensible therefore to have the vaccine if it were necessary.
