Anne-Marie"Part of the pubery affects a boys voice. As the larynx (or voice box) enlarges and the muscles or vocal cords grow, the voice may "crack". This is a normal part of the growth process. Eventually the voice will change to a more permanent " adult male" deeper tone."
I’d say it does affect their voice and once it changes really, that would not get any higher with treatment or changhe once it has deepend like that.
