My brother’s stepdaughter daughter has had a very deep voice since she began to make sounds. I often thought she may have been deaf. But of course she is not. She is 5 and its still the same. I have heard other children with that raspy sound and to myself and others it is cute. I have a favorite spanish singer that has a beautiful raspy voice. You probably hear it so much and get the comments so much that it bother’s you. My daughter had a high pitched squeaky, and she was very talkative...nonstop! Well what I would like to tell you is that if everything checks out ok with the doc, please  make sure she learns how to sing..LOL. Most of us will enjoy it. It will be the kind of voice we can sing to...LOL. Take care, Michelle
