My 11 year old is also simple virilizer (borderline saltwaster - whatever). She was on two florinef a day for the same reasons as Kristen and her blood pressure kept going up. We dropped to one a day and the blood pressure came down. We did have to tweak up the cortef some to compensate. Hopefully dropping the extra florinef will bring it down. My best to you. Middle school years are tough enough without having to deal with pain. I think she was the basketball player right? Hope her knee heals so she can enjoy her sports again.
