Because Florinef can last up to 36 hours when taken, I’d say at the high doses that she was taking (double her usual dose), that she will have a normal blood pressure reading anything from a day (24 hours) after cutting back to one tablet and she should be much imporved in that sense.

When you increase the hydrocortisone during injury, illness etc, because that has mineralocorticoid properties to a certain extent,  that covers their natural need for increased mineralocorticoid during illness also.  That’s why you don’t need to raise the doses of florinef in illness.
