dosing and admistering to infants

Hi All,

I’ve been reading all of your dosing threads with great interest, and am planning on talking to our endo about circadian dosing when we go on Monday.  I can see how this dosing schedule makes sense, but I’m having a hard time giving my 7 month old his meds as it is, and I fear that the 3am dose would be a real problem....he would surely wake up, and probably not go right back to sleep,

Are any of you with infants using circadian dosing?  If so, how do you administer meds witout waking them up?  I used to have a really great system going, using a bottle nipple that he would take while sleeping, but he won’t take it anymore!  I’ve since been giving it to him in an oral syringe, and he fights me.  I would love to hear any tips/tricks that would make taking the meds easier!  Wouldn’t it be GREAT if they had a patch type application that you could just stick on their arm, and the meds would be time released throughout the day?  OK, I’m dreaming, but that would be so wonderful :)

Thanks,

Shannon
