My son was diagnosed with CAH at 1 month old. He is now 9 and his latest 17OH test and bone density test have indicated onset of puberty. The endo wants to confirm puberty with a testosterone test using ACTH or Factrel. Unfortunately, it’s taken us a month to figure out that ACTH is not available in the strength we need and Factrel is discontinued. Does anyone else know what other drug is available for this type of testing? The endo is on vacation AGAIN and I want to get the ball rolling.
