Thanks for all of the advice. I do believe it has a lot to do with compliance. She began to gain weight within the first MONTH of taking the Cortef. The thing is was that this doctor seems to be okay with having her 17 OHP as low as 14ng/dl. Which to me is too low. My daughter is beautiful and very popular. She as an anchor on the school’s (news) in the mornings. She is in quior and takes violin. So the weight had begun to bother her, where as in the past she was fine with her self image. Believe me I KNOW about the hair and the self image. I also have locah and take Dex, BUT I was not dxed till I was 25. So I would never want her to go through what I did. I do plan on finding out more about the Dex for my daughter, I have never heard that Dex can cause infertility.  If I did not seek treatment then she could blame me but she is going to blame me sooner or later cause I passed this on to her. At first it she bonded to me because of this we have in common, then the weight and the pills she gags on. She doesn’t want to take them much less 3 time a day. Later (teeneage years) I know I’ll hear about it then. She is not one to ever talk back to me, she doesn’t have the nerve yet I guess. So I’m just waiting for it to happen.
