Which is extremely rare thing to happen and can sometimes cause problems with  developent of the kidneys and urinary tract.  Everything was fine on his scan and one of my sister’s had the same thing happen to her third baby eerily enough.  He was fine too.  It is a worry when the Paed’s run off with them from the operating theatre though to check them over, but when I had my fifth they did that too.  They actually told me about the abnormal cord whilst I was on the operating bed being stitched up which was a worry too.  I would rather they have waited until I was out of theatre and back on the ward.
