Sarah, I had both my salt-wasters through normal vaginal delivery and at no time were either of them in any fetal distress.  I did not know with my first child he was a CAH salt-waster until 10 days after he was born when the second set of newborn screen results got back to my pediatrician and at that time, he was admitted to the hospital.  As a matter of fact, he was born at home with a midwife.  With my second child, we knew ahead of time through an amniocentesis that she was affected, and I was on the dexamethasone therapy, and the doctors induced labor, but everything went fine.  Good Luck and Best Wishes.
