I have 2 children, a 14yr old NON-CAH daughter, normal but long (27 hr) delivery and then my SW-CAH 10 yr old son. Delivered via c-section after long, tedious 12 hr induced labor where he would just not come down the birth canal. We kept losing his heart rate on the monitor and soon realized the cord was wrapped around his neck. After having to wait 3 hrs for a anesthesiologist to show up, he was finally delivered. By that time, it was such an emergency they had to totally knock me out and get that kid out!! The endo said none of the problems we encountered related to his CAH, but I don’t believe them for a minute. Also, my daughter was only 7lbs - 6oz, he was 10lbs!!! I always thought that was odd also, but once again, they assured me that it had nothing to do with his CAH! Yeah, right!!! ;)ValerieD
