When you do a search on Google, Clondine is scripted for nerve pain and hot flashes in Menopause as it is an antihypertensive.  I’d say that it has been scripted to help your daughter with the pain. 

The weight gain and lack of growth could be a sign of over treatment.  However, I guess that they need to check first that it isn’t some other reason such as the fact that growth has stopped completely.  The bone age will tell them if bone age is immature or bones have stopped growing.
