I just wondered on what claim a suit for malpractice would be filed in this case?  Children that have not been picked up withnewborn screening, will not be picked up until it is patently obvious that there are outward physical signs of CAH like I said.  You can only height and weight a child and if they are in normal ranges, what else can you do?  Doctors would have to be psychic to know the child had CAH unless they sufferred a massive growth spurt that rendered them out of normal height ranges, or they had precocious puberty, or blood tests showed this.  Most Doctors would have just seen a tall kid with asthma symptoms and treated the and said what are you putting in this kid’s shoes surely?
