 Here’s one more vote for not making changes without the endo’s prior knowledge.  It’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of a promising change, but dosing changes are a long run proposition.  Parents and endos need to all be on board before changes are made, both to keep records current and to keep egos intact.  I would also advocate looking for another endo if this one won’t even discuss a change until an appointment three months in the future.  That’s just a little too busy…
