When we traveled to Central America we broughtour own IV start kit in case this was needed we knew that it was clean. Just a thought! I would also stress dose at first sign of diarrhea. I would bring 10 solu cortefs (at least) and use them at the first sign of vomiting. We have been able to stay out of the ER by giving the injection first thing. My daughter responds wonderfully.
