We cannot discus much without appointments and face to face contact here.  I think half the time we are on our won with what we have to do for our kids.  We are left to decide a lot of theings like when to increase, and how much to increase by.  When to give a shot.  There are a lot of grey areas.  If you go to an appointment with all this kind of thing here, they would take it away and think  about it for three months until your next appointment.  Don’t know about there.

Sometimes you have to take the bull by the horns---and to me you still need the Doctor to decide the doses anyway and write the scripts, but that is all and if you switch before the next visit and then discuss what you are doing and THEN leave them with the stuff, often they will look at it much faster as they know your no waiting to change.  Your kid is on that dosing regime and there is more of a sense of hurry that they pick it up fast to make sure it is ok.  Well that’s what I thought would happen if I switched before discussing it.  As it was, it turned out to work better that way.  Our new Doctor did not know much about it either, but because Ashley was O that regime, he could not change him as such.  The reason?  because he was doing so well on it.  He continues to follow the growth curve exactly and grows at a normal rate also.  Approx 1cm every two months, but it is there and is a sign to me that he is doing much better since the change.  We are now almost twelve months on the regime come this October.
