I don’t think the regime is in question here.  Deciding and dosing without cooperation of your endo is.  Based on your previous post, it sounds like your relationship with your endo could be better.  Or you lack the chance to have many choices in endos.  I have had to come prepared with questions, written down, in order to get in what I need to know before we leave.  Otherwise, she’d be out the door.  Today, it is much improved.  I recoginze that she keeps up to date, and she knows I do as well.  In fact, I think she gives me more credit that I deserve. 

Bottomline to me is that if the parent believes in a certain treatment, the parent needs to find a doctor to administer it.  Not to do it on your own.
