If your child vomits within ONE hour of taking the med’s, re administer in the same double or triple quantity.  You cannot overdose in this situation.  I have given Ashley up to five times more than his normal daily dose, and he has been ok.  That was in a situation where he had unexplained headache and high temp and nausea.
