I have also heard this.  Just a little info. Our 5 y/o child with SWCAH was tested at his school looking for delays in learning due to his illness.  (I didn’t think it was necessary)  Well, we were told he did outstanding and should be tested for the "gifted" program in a couple of years!  Wow!
