It’s that time again and I just thought I’d send out a reminder to get your flu shots.  My son almost died one year from the flu but has been doing very well since he has been old enough to get the flu shot.  He has battled some of the stomach virus’ that go around as well as a mild cold or two, but nothing that severe since.

I didn’t realize it but my doctor told me that 20,000+ people die each year from the flu.  Most of them are the elderly and people with an impared immune system but we still have to do all that we can to prevent our children from getting it.
