I’m interested in this whisper technique! 

Have you noticed how they hear when they want to hear something (i.e. when your whispering and don’t want the kids to hear you) and then when you really want them to listen and your increasing your voice a few decibels each time you call them (i.e. giving out chores and asking them to do something) they tune right out and don’t hear you! 

I may try whispering more often!    ;)

Does the "Whispering Technique" work along a similar principle?
