GretchenAnne-Marie,
We have not done anything along the lines of a 24-hour profile since our son was in the hospital surviving his first adrenal crisis. At present, we draw blood every three months (and it is always high drama as our son is nearly impossible to get blood out of) about three hours after his first dose of the day. How is a 24-hour profile done? Do you draw blood before each dose; e.g. if he gets doses of Cortef at 6am, 2pm and 10pm, you draw at 5am, 1pm and 9pm? Please do tell us more.
