The surgery doesn’t work.  It doesn’t make anything look normal and it leaves children with diminished sexual function when they become sexually active adults. Sometimes it even leaves the child incontinent where there was none before.  I’ll pray that you do some research in this short week and allow your daughter to make her own choice about surgery when she is old enough to do so.
