We don’t need an explanation of the difference between 1.05 and 1.5 in BSA - I agree that would make a vast difference in calculating medication dosage.  The nit picking was whether the child in question had a BSA of  1.5 or 1.47 - difference = 0.03!!  (Those were the figures quoted).
