Once on florinef-always on florinef I would have thought.  There is as far as I know no ability for repairation of the block where the missing enzyme is concerned in salt wasting kids.  It will always be like that.  There will not suddenly come a time where the adrenals can make it.  Once it has been diagnosed that you are deficient--you will always be deficient and need replacement florinef.
