Just stopping by and saying hi.  I was diagnosed with CAH when I was about 8 (started to go through puberty just a little bit early, heh).   Oh btw im male 25 yrs of age. 

Anyways, they tested me for CAH but after visiting a few sites Im not sure what type I have.  Docs found that I wasn’t losing salt so I was off the cortef right away but stayed with the cortizone.   Currently Im on prednisone.   I was told that most men dont have to stay on the medication after puberty but I was told that I’d have to stay on it for the rest of my life.  Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me.  To be honest Im the only person that I know that has CAH so its good to see communities like this. 

Also, what side effects are people experiencing with CAH and prednisone?  Im so different from everyone else in my family I just have to wonder.
