Natalie AI am so happy for you and your family. The timing is so ironic. This weekend we were at Barnes and Noble at our local mall here near Dallas. We met Mike Lingengfelter and his guide dog, a beautiful golden retreiver named Dakota. A short while ago they were featured on Good Morning America. Anyway he was there doing a book signing for one of his books entitled "The Angel by my Side". This amazing 20 month old dog was trained by his predessesor to smell an enzyme released when Mike is in danger of heart trouble. I believe he even "saved" another man who was quite worked up at a meeting Mike was attending who had no idea he had heart trouble himself. We of course thought immediately that if we had this dog over the past nine years what signals it would have caught and red flags would have gone up to save our precious Alyssa from so many frightening adrenal crisis over the years. We took the hard route and of course learned a lot but at great expense. I really pray this is a break-thru for you and your child. Please keep us up dated. I hope to hear from you. I just had to share that. God Bless.
