Anne-MarieWill you have to actually do any training at the times that Ryan has a crisis so that Lily knows what one is? Just wondering.
Never had any pets in the house here. I just don’t like em and think they make too much mess. Plus the poop---eww. (Wish people would clean their animals poop up when they walk them.) :) On top of all that, the four year old has a panic attack whenever he sees a dog of any variety--even the smaller ones. It does not matter what we do to convince him or calm him, he just let’s out a blood curdling scream whenever he sees anything with four legs with fur and moving. My mother has a skitty alsatian and I think that must have frightened him at some point cos I don’t know where he get’s this fear from. none of the other kids are bothered. in fact at the weekend, Tyler wanted to go in the yeard and play with Tina (mum’s dog) and Kyle didn’t want us to even open the backdoor to let Tyler out to the yard! Then with messing around Tina shot inside, and of course all hell broke loose as Kyle went into his "scream and pee himself on the spot" mode.
So although having a dog would be good for Ashley if it had such skills, the four yr old would no doubt be living in constant state of fear here. ;) He has always been hypersenstive and wary.
