We tried Kyle with other smaller dogs other than my mother’s alsatian and he just freaks out just as much.  I think he was born this way.  I did have high stress in that pregnancy funnily enough towards the end due to placenta praevia and planning for a caesar, and wonder if that made him like that.  He is afraid of dogs, but was chasing a gaggle (?) of geese the other day when we went to the park.  When he sees a dog he runs to an adult and jumps on their legs and hangs on for grim death--- as if they need to pick him up  Must have thought that the geese would be harmless because they just look like overgrown birds or something, but I know that geese can be quite viscious anyway if kids are around and messing about, so we steered him clear.  The youngest one has nor fear whatsoever and many a time we have our hearts in our mouths.  He will climb a climbing frame or slide by himself and plummet down it like a bullet and fly of the end unperturbed.  They are like chalk and cheese the pair of them.  I find it hilarious.  We call Tyler Sherpa or Bungy--because he is your typical climber and adventure (Indiana Jones) type.  I dread to think what he will be doing as an adult that’s for sure.  he will be a real worry no doubt.

He climbs so well, he got out of the childcarers gates (they were passed as safe by Barnardos here no less)he other week and walked down to the creek with another toddler.  They scaled a 3 foot gate (he is only 18 months old) and dropped on the other side-concrete-and were off.  We had a search party out for them and I walked down to the creek, but after two blocks I figured they couldn’t have walked that far so I turned back and we searched the school grounds.  One of the other parents drove to the creek out of chance and there they were on the bridge.  It was total panick for about 15 minutes because I know he has no fear and will do anything without a worry.  So I was concerned about him getting himself into trouble or eating something he shouldn’t.  The carer has not upped the security--LOL!  Super kid I tell you.  ;)
