I’m thinking of discussing with her endo whether we should increment in fractions rather than a whole mg and also whether or not it is her am dose that needs the change ( that’s the one that was altered before so I guess that’s why the change).

In any case, I think a couple of months of getting too much may not cause that much harm as getting less for a couple of months, esp if she were to fall sick. So that’s why I’m more inclined to let things be and come back and figure out what the new dose is doing. By then hopefully she would have gained some weight and grown some too. Her first bone age was done at 4 months and I guess she’s due for one soon.

The pharmacy has given me some sort of suspension liquid that I use. Water just makes the crystals float and cortef is kind of bitter I guess, so I use this suspension. Just like how the pharmacy used to make it but I make it "a la carte ". So I don’t have to worry about stability issues. But I think she may not be getting the entire dose because some of it may be lost in the process. how much I don’t know.
