AimeeHello:
I have perfectly good teeth but I never developed the enamel the same way on my two front teeth like I did on all the rest of them. My periodontist called it a minor imperfection and I called it character when he pointed it out to me but I do wonder if the bone maturation of the teeth was interrupted when I was younger due to the cortisone meds or if this as has nothing to do with CAH at all. I’m 5 feet1 inch , my bio-parents were 5 feet 5 inch and 5 feet 6 inch , and my bio-uncle was 5 feet 8 inch. Most likely, I’m supposed to be short anyway regardless of growth stunting by over or under suppression of the meds.
My periodontist takes a strong interest in the CAH and my life long use of prednisone. Other dentists and periodontist had exhibited interest in the CAH and the prednisone also. It makes me wonder about a connection w/ CAH and my teeth and gums.
Oh...... have to stop and take the pred. I’m trying to follow that circadian rhythm thing. Slight Cushing Syndrome, BE GONE .
