re: re: re: Considering pregnancy-- Any experience with the Dex therapy while pregnant?

Hello Gina: I am currently 31 weeks into my second pregnancy (we have a 4 year old son with SWCAH) and have been taking the Dex since about 5 weeks. At 11 weeks I had a CVS which confirmed our baby was an affected girl. Now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, I can honestly say I’m doing alright, but it was very difficult at first. I have gained a huge amount of weight (50 lbs at last count, although I seem to be levelling off, Thank God!), I have extensive stretch marks ALL OVER my body, I have been nauseous off and on throughout the entire pregnancy, and have also experienced growth of facial and body hair, acne and insomnia. Listing these side effects makes it sound terrible, but aside from the weight gain, and resulting fatigue, it hasn’t been so bad. If you have any specific questions, feel free to email at your convenience. Good luck!
