AaleceHi,
I am interested in this discussion because my 15-month old daughter’s first tooth did not erupt until she was 13 1/2months old. Currently, she has 3 teeth. She went to a dentist at 12 months of age, because she did not have any teeth at the time. He confirmed the presence of teeth, but was not sure about a potential association between CAH and the late eruption of teeth. Anyone else have a similar experience? Also, it appears to me that the enamel on her lone front top tooth isn’t well developed. Her initial endocrinologist has had her on Pediapred since she was diagnosed at 2 weeks of age, but I recently changed to a different endo (who has put her on Cortef). I wonder if prednisone has more adverse effects on tooth development than other corticosteriods?
