They have not identified all the genetic mutations, Dr. New’s office can detect the most, but they are the most expensive. We had the testing done at Dr. News, my son’s and I all have a " common mutation" but my husbands mutation they could not identify. If my husband had been tested alone, they would have said he was not a carrier. (It sounds fishy I know, the kids are his for sure) So what I am saying is the DNA testing is not 100%. My endo would not start treating my second CAH SW boy until he manifested symptoms even though the genetic testing showed he has CAH SW.Martha
