I know nothing of the shot..I have only double dosed Jackson and all went fine.  What I did want to say is that you should try Motrin for high fevers. I hardly ever use Tylenol any more. It doesn’t seem to do anything for my kids fevers. My 4 yr old (non CAH) had a flying fever... I swear 15 minutes after Motrin he was playing, laughing like nothing ever happened. Aside from Cortef and the solucortef, I think of Motrin as liquid gold!!!
